Cape Town is the second most populous city in South Africa. Johannesburg
Johannesburg also known as Joburg is the largest city in South Africa. It is located in the eastern plateau area of South Africa known as the Highveld. Johannesburg is the source of a large-scale gold and diamond trade, due to its location on the mineral-rich Witwatersrand range of hills. Johannesburg is not a traditional tourist destination but it is a transit point for connecting flights to Cape Town, Durban and Kruger National Park.
Knysna
Knysna is a town in the Western Cape Province of South Africa and it is a part of the Garden Route. Knysna is mantled by indigenous forest extending into the Tsitsikamma National Park area. In heart of Knysna is a lagoon protected from the sea by the monolithic "Heads". The town is popular destination for both tourist and senior citizens.
Hermanus
Hermanus is a town on the southern coast of South Africa. Hermanus is well known for whale watching during the southern winter and spring. The Old Harbour Museum contains several exhibitions which explain the whaling history of Hermanus.
Stellenbosch
Stellenbosch is a town in the West Cape province in South Africa. It is located east of Cape Town, along the banks of the Eerste River and is the second oldest town in South Africa. The town become known as the City of Oaks due to large number of oak trees which lined streets. Stellenbosch is the heart of the Cape Winelands, South Africa prime wine region.
Durban
Durban is the thrid most populated city in South Africa. It is famous as the busiest port in Africa. Due to its subtropic climate and beaches is Durban a major tourist destination. The Golden Mile is the name to the popular stretch of beachfront in Durban.
